Hello VCK community,
Zayin Adar, the 7th of the Hebrew month of Adar, is the day that Moses died, and because God buried Moses, the Chevra Kadisha is “off duty”. It is an opportunity and time for our chevra kadisha (like many others) to gather and honor our sacred work together as a group. So that is what we are doing.
We warmly invite you—and your significant other—to join us in community for our third Zayin Adar gathering, with reflection, teaching, and gratitude.
Whether you’ve been actively volunteering or have recently completed training, we would love to have you with us. A vegetarian dinner and dessert will be served.
